@melonfestival did a neat OC personality quiz and I thought I’d give it a go because I love thinking about things that are outside possibilities to character personality.

It makes her appear cold, but actually she’s afraid to loose more people.  She does care about others, but thinks survival is more important. Her feeling run very deep and that is likely why she shuts them down and compartmentalizes. Also why she has so few real friends.

She rarely asks for help and comes off as a know-it-all even though she’s well aware that her knowledge outside of theory is untested and weak. She naturally instills confidence in others, which makes them more at ease with her decisive actions, but she hates to be a leader. She would do everything on her own if she could, but she’s also pragmatic and knows she cannot do it alone.

Vi can turn on a dime emotionally, but it’s very rare. The majority of her actions were all meticulously planned days in advance. When there is no plan, (when she is forced to think on her feet) she tends to be far more aggressive and bold than she would otherwise be.

this character is a total peach tbh i always enjoy seeing new headcanons/content about her. ive been wanting to draw her for a while now so i finally got to it and it was a lot of fun!! :o)

★★★ food!

Reiff doesn’t really keep much food in the cupboards because she doesn’t tend to eat much, neither does Curie. They do however keep the cupboards full of sweet and sugary stuff, so ‘food’ if you ask her about it, because they love that stuff. So don’t expect a meal if you get invited round for tea, just lots and lots of Fancy Lad Snack Cakes and Nuka Cola (which I suppose is great if you like that sort of thing). 

Anna has always had a weak spot for baking. She used to bake when she was young, but eased off when she decided she wanted to join the police so she could sort out her body and pass the physical aspects of it. She picks it back up a little when her career settles down, but she never properly picks it back up until she goes ghoul and suddenly finds she has a lot more time on her hands. 

Ruby isn’t really one for comfort eating, yet everyone seems to enjoy bringing her food when she’s down (which thanks to the plot of DA2 is a lot). A lot of the things people bring her end up being given to her mabari, who greatly appreciates them. Most people don’t know this however, so still bring her big hearty trays of food. She doesn’t have the heart to tell them.

★★★ for Chrys!

★Contrary to her sweet tooth, Chrys is a big promoter of personal hygiene and keeping clean and healthy. Especially when it comes to dental. So her teeth’s only saving grace from her Nuka-Cola chugging ways is that for every bottle of Nuka-Cola, there’s a tube of toothpaste ready to go. She nearly has a heart attack when she sees MacCready’s teeth (she’ll only lend him comic books if he promises to brush his teeth at least twice the next day).

★One of her main forms of motivation is competition, if worded properly. She’ll be more inclined to take a trivial bet or dare if it involves “I can do ‘x’ better than you”; and so she strives to prove them wrong. It’s not that she necessarily wants to be on top, but more so a need to prove she’s capable like everyone else. She was never really looked upon highly back in Vault 101 and everyone except James, Jonas, and Amata felt she wouldn’t amount to much (“What’s the tiny, timid, almost blind girl gonna do with her life?”). If you dare her to chug a beer, she won’t do it. If you bet you can chug a beer faster than her, she’ll gladly take your challenge - she’ll lose that particular bet though. Phrasing it like “Bet you can’t do ‘x’” probably won’t get her to take action because she’s not pitting herself against someone.

★During the events of Fallout 3 Charon called Chrys a “child magnet” because she had a habit of finding/attracting kids out in the Wasteland. Given Chrys’, at times, childish nature she got along with all of them rather well and there were only a few special cases she didn’t. Despite that, Chrys is very intimidated by the thought of being a mother. She can be friends with kids, sure, but she’s definitely not confident in her ability to raise one. She never had a mother figure in her life, so she’s unsure as to what being one herself would entitle.

★ Rolfe is half-Antivan.  His mother was married to his “father” as part of a trade agreement to strengthen merchant ties.  I put his father in air quotes because he’s not his biological parent.  Rolfe’s parents had a loveless marriage and both were open to affairs, but Rolfe was a product of a one night stand with some other Trevelyan on the family tree, probably during a holiday or reunion when they all got together.  His heritage is never openly questioned because he inherited the Trevelyan Cheekbones and Sharp Jawline, but he also inherited his biological father’s bright blue eyes that neither of his parents had.  It was enough of a “whoops” to be noticeable and cause a bit of a scandal whispered behind the family’s back, which was just another reason why he became the unwanted third child.

★ He’s ambidextrous. He can write as quickly and as neatly with his left hand as he does with his dominant right, mostly because as a child, he broke his right arm falling off a horse and having an arm in a sling was no excuse to neglect one’s penmanship.  Being able to do things almost equally well with both hands carried over to his fighting style, making wielding dual weapons second nature to him.

★ If Rolfe were to have a quote in a yearbook, it would be the Troubled Birds’ “The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad with math.“  Rolfe can come up with some of the most brilliant strategic plans for military operations or for spymaster work, but at the same time, he can also come up with some stinkers when it comes to his personal life.  It’s why he’s constantly brilliant with Inquisition orders, but also why he streaked, buck naked, from the Herald’s Rest up to his quarters after losing a drawn out match of Diamondback with the Chargers.  The event did not go unnoticed by visiting dignitaries, and it was also why Maryden penned a song on the fly about the Inquisitor’s "greatness” appearing amid a full moon.
