Enigmatic artist AI teases me about MELT IT! THE FILM OF THE ICEMAN
Anthony Irvine, The Iceman, in Wolverhampton (Photo by Spencer Wakeling) Anyone who read my blog of a month ago (this means you, my loyal readers in Guatemala) will know that Melt It! The Film of the Iceman – the new documentary film about British performance artist The Iceman aka fine artist AIM aka Anthony Irvine – was due to be premiered in Wolverhampton last weekend. Melt it in Pasadena ❤️❤️❤️
Do you think brian ever saw pictures of baby justin? It would be SO cute I'm already melting
Um, of COURSE he did. After all, he’s a regular guest at Jennifer’s for dinner, and you know she has photos of Justin growing up all over the house. Just passing through, Brian saw a five-year-old Justin holding up his paint-covered fingers for the camera, a ten-year-old Justin making faces at his baby sister, and a twelve-year-old Justin grinning and showing off a full mouth of braces. But that’s nothing compared to the time Jennifer had them both over for dinner and, after a few glasses of wine, decided to pull out Justin’s baby album (“Mom, Brian doesn’t need to see that!” “Don’t be silly, sweetheart, you were an adorable baby, when I think about your cheeks...” “Yes, Sunshine, don’t let me be denied your cheeks.”) and Brian gets to see:
Newborn Justin with a full head of blond hair, screaming for all he’s worth
A slightly older Justin curled up in his crib, sucking his thumb
Justin escaping from his parents and crawling up the stairs, giggling madly
A naked Justin taking his first steps (“Hey, you still have that dimple on your ass!”)
Justin sleeping on the floor right next to Gus, his beloved teddy bear
Justin nestled up in Jennifer’s arms, both of them with expressions of pure love on their faces
And even though Justin’s blushing and trying to get his mom to put it away, the entire time Brian has a soft, fond smile on his face, and he holds Justin’s hand and kisses his temple as he looks over at these images of the baby who would grow up to be this incredibly young man he loves more than anything else in the world.

Grilled Cheese Mac and Cheese at Melt it!
Pie Hole. Maple Custard and Mexican Chocolate. The custard was yummy. Very sweet, but very yummy. The Mexican Chocolate pie was super thick, with cinnamon and spice.
Spice and tea store. It smelled so good.

Melt It!
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. But with a twist!
If you live in the Pasadena area, you need to go to Melt It! (If you’re from Northern California, go check out The Melt.) Saturday evening, Shawn, his parents, and I went to Melt It!, because we’ve all been dying to try it for the past few months. Oh my goodness. It was delicious. Since it was my first time there, I just had the classic grilled cheese…

Work got me a heat gun so I can have an easier time removing adhesives from stuff. It was only $25 from ifixit, and I expected it to be a little mini thing, but no, it is a huge beast.
