Adding gooey melted cheese and grilled bread makes this a tasty take on the classic BLT sandwich.
Ingredients: 4 slices of bread. 8 slices of bacon. 4 slices of tomato. 4 leaves of lettuce. 8 slices of cheese. Butter.
Instructions: Cook bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Place 2 slices of cheese on the unbuttered side of 2 bread slices. Top each with 2 slices of bacon, 1 slice of tomato, and 1 leaf of lettuce. Add another slice of cheese on top of each sandwich. Cover with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and serve hot.
