"You know, if you don't have anything else to show me, then I might have to go away. As I said, Atlas and the Association are chasing me down right now." said the alchemist at the old man. Her time was pressing, as she wasn't feeling that good today, so she wanted to get as much information as she could from the man without resorting to dangerous force.

"Do you think we'll survive and if we do....will it be worth it ?"

"I am dedicating the majority of my calculations into optimizing our chances of survival, you can be assured I will make sure we will get out of this with our lives." in her own way, the alchemist was trying to reassure the homunculus girl.

But in regard to the worthiness of it all, the serious acting girl didn't have a clear answer, she wanted to survive in order to still have a chance at restoring the Eltnam name, and that wasn't something she had to ponder before, she just decided to do it. She didn't know what would drive this girl in particular.

"Wouldn't such a question be better posed after survival as been secured, such doubts could certainly hold us back, Miss Theodore."

" so, what is your specialty ? " the cherubim had dabbled into the world of alchemy from time to time. though she still preferred magecraft to be her main focus, she couldn't deny her fascination with alchemy. she had never spoken to this woman before, but she had heard about her name and capability, so that had piqued her interest enough to strike a conversation. the whole concept with dead apostle was interesting to her. " i'd like to see you demonstrate your power one of these days. "

"If I’m allowed to say something about what I do, maybe I should limit myself to saying my specialty is the gathering of information." saying more would normally be dangerous to say, specially to a mage. “My...power? You mean...” that cursed inhumanity that she dragged around.

There was this one Master. She was supposed to be an enemy if Sion really wanted to hold the Grail for herself. Despite that, it seems like even if she had the blonde Master centered on her pistol's sights, she wanted to talk a bit more.

"You know how things are right now, even if I kill you know, according to my data I wouldn't be capable of winning the war myself. And on the other side of the coin, I calculate you wouldn't be able to defeat the remaining Servant alone."

So there was only one choice available according to the alchemist's thought process, who had the courtesy of not stealing the other woman's free will. "Will you work with me."
