Monster Hunter Wilds has taken over my life, and I couldn't be happier! This was originally going to be the splash image for my Neocities site, but, oops, I made it way too detailed!

If you want some details about the hunting group here:

Connie: Heavy Bowgun user. Currently wearing the Rompopolo armor while in the forbidden lands. Born and raised in a rider village, but took a different career path in hunting instead.

Socks: Melynx Palico. Very strict about abiding to safety regulations and always has Connie chug an Armordrug before setting out on a hunt.

Gilgamesh: Seikret steed for Connie. Huge troublemaker, no one knows if Connie controls him or if it's the other way around.

More stories concepting, this time for the obligatory lynian companion. Frida is a melynx with a checkered past working as a guild clerk assistant when the protagonist first meets her.

She'd serve as mapmaker and note keeper, and as a former palico would be able to use assists in battle.

I imagine she'd start out guarded toward the player but would gradually soften and become a sort of mentor figure.
