Dear titi,

don't try to make ME feel bad, cause I didn't call memam. she's my grandmother and she never calls me, she didn't even come to jeramiah's championship baseball game like she promised! i don't call my mom, dad, friends, sisters, anyone, unless i need to talk to them at that moment. i hate phones. so don't try that on me with the "bendito, you don't even call you own grandma to see how she's doing?!" no, i don't. you know why? cause she doesn't bother to call any of us. titi, you see her all the time and she STILL calls you everyday just to check up on your kids, Caleb and Christian. but she hasn't called my mom since around july 4th, and that was ONLY to check up on YOU cause YOU got mad and left. she doesn't call to see how we're doing. she probably doesn't know that Jeramiah's now on a football team starting as a defensive tackle, or that we just came back from camping. she probably doesn't even know that this is my senior year and i'm going all the way to California just to visit a college i know i'll never get in to. i bet she doesn't know that this is Jocelyn's freshman year in high school either.  she had a party for papo and didn't even have the guts to CALL US and invite us!  i love my memam, titi, i really do. but i refuse to treat her like a child and cater to her needs. she complains about visiting us cause it's too far, but you know titi that her Bingo place she goes to is only like 10 mins away from my house. AND she know's what we're going through. she can call you but not us? no. she can visit you but not us? no. she complains about us not calling, but she doesn't even try? Hell no. like i said, i love her. i really do. but i'm not gonna sit here and feel bad for not contacting someone who obviously couldn't care less about us right now.
