he wakes up gasping for air, his heart pounding too hard and his mind racing too fast. what is happening to me? he asks himself, choking on something inside of him, trying to take deep gulps of air which only in turn, burns the inside of his throat even more. he feels something rising up his throat, and he coughs, violently, hands covering his mouth before the said thing falls into his hands, and he can finally breathe again. it feels velvety, he thinks, before he looks into his palm and what he finds is an acacia petal.
"seokjin hyung?" he hears the faint call of their leader, namjoon and a knock on the door, as he scrambles to tuck the petal under his pillow as namjoon steps through the door and gives him a questioning look. "are you ok hyung? we heard you coughing really loudly from the kitchen–oh, speaking of the kitchen hyung, you should get there before taehyung tries to burn it down while trying to fry eggs." namjoon says, giving seokjin a small grin as he leans against the doorway, waiting for his answer.
