[♥︎] Sure there had been outside sources at play, that hadn't meant that Riku didn't come to care about Naminé on his own. He had. After all, she was like him in many ways. Both of them were relatively quiet and often enjoyed doing their own thing unless they had to join in or were actively part of the activity. Not to mention, when Naminé had gotten a vessel of her own, Riku knew that he owed his replica for what he had done. So being one of the first people that Naminé got to see when she finally reawakened, only made sense to Riku. Since she deserved to see a friendly face, someone that she knew and was relatively close to.
He quietly and patiently waited as she eventually spoke up, talking about how she's been alright and getting used to being her again. He could relate to that, after all, having your body taken over and even then, not being entirely yourself unless he couldn't see had taken some time to get used too. She had been one of the few who had seen him as himself even during that hard time. Which he was silently grateful to her for. He gave a soft hum and a nod at her words, since checking in with the folks at Radiant Garden made sense since they did it with everyone who had gotten new bodies just to make sure that they were working alright and adjusting okay.
When she asked how he was doing, he let out a small breath before giving a small shrug of his own. "I've been alright as well." Honestly, there was... well a lot he had been up to. Mainly it was coming to Radiant Garden after doing sweeps of the multitude of worlds, looking for any trace of Sora, any clue to where he may have gone. While in Radiant Garden, he was often with Cid, Yuffie, Aerith and Leon; trying to retrace Sora's steps through a virtual console. "Just been... busy. But I always make time for my friends." And he meant it. If any of his friends ever needed something, he'd do it in a heartbeat.
