Enderman x Reader Minecraft Date
● ————————— MINECRAFT
→ ABOUT / Just a casual day in your singleplayer Minecraft world; what's that in the distance? An Enderman? Aren't those things decently rare? Well, instead of getting a typical Ender Pearl, why don't you have a bit of fun with it instead -
→ DEMOGRAPHIC / gn ! reader
→ CW / minecraft date (idk if that counts as "fluff" or not) + mentions of getting hurt?
→ EXTRA / Writing this because I am absolutely out of ideas. Please give me something to do preferably genshin aaf afaffagbajkbsjkl (also im not proofreading this because it's 6 AM and I just wanna sleep)
——————————————————————————————————
Iron sword in hand, you stroll over the vast mountains of the world, passing llamas and goats; you're determined to find your home which you hadn't visited in days due to a recent mining venture. Well, at least the profits were fruitful. A few stacks of coal, a stack of iron, and precisely ten diamonds, along with a load of bread you found whilst passing a village on your journey back.
Upon seeing the silhouette of your beautiful Cottagecore-inspired house in the distance, you grin, brimming with excitement to finally be back home. Dangerously skipping down the final slope before reaching your residence, you fall, losing grip of sword, as you end up tumbling down the face of the mountain, landing in a pond at the bottom, blacking out.
LATER
A few hours pass. You slowly drift open your eyes, seeing a jet-black figure with entrancing purple eye features towering over your body. Clueless, you reach your hand out, trying to get a feel of it, before it backs away slowly, still keeping you in its view.
Jolting up to get a better look, you notice just how tall this thing actually was. Surely it was three blocks tall, maybe even more. If only you had such attractive features like that; oh, one can only dream.
Blushing, the figure holds out its hand. Hesitating, you slowly reach your out too, meeting it, and grabbing on tight, as it pulls you all the way up off of the ground. Wait, how had you gotten out of the pond in the first place? Still curious, you interrogate the creature.
Ah, so it's an Enderman. Aren't those things afraid of water? Fret not, this Enderman seemed to have already taken a special interest in you, thus why it helped you this whole time.
"So, what are you looking for?" You ask, trying not to look the Enderman in the eyes. "If there's a certain... block, or flower that you desire, I'd be more than happy to help you find it."
The Enderman shook its head shily, trying to gaze at you, but quickly turning away to face your home each time. To be honest, this situation you found yourself in was pretty awkward, however, let's not make it weird. Continuing this discussion, you think well, what? before getting the hint. Wait- this may be just a game, but can the Endermen have attraction to the players.
I mean, seriously, who the hell would code a feature like that?
"Do you want to try going on a date, perchance?" Glancing at the creature once more, still avoiding the eyes, you watch as it slowly nods in compliance. "Well, why didn't you say so from the start? I actually have quite the thing for people built like you."
Long story short, you were asked to set up two Dark Oak stairs for chairs, and a fence with a trapdoor on it in the middle, simulating that of a date you'd find in real life.
Oddly, it looked peaceful, and fit quite nicely under the canopy created by the balcony of your cottage. After scattering an assortment of flowers, this newfound creature sat down on the "chair" opposite of you, and made sure not to be as nervous this time.
With that, you enjoyed a cooked chicken together and had quite the talk about the current economic situation in the End Dimension.
A night well spent. You had all of your items back, and polished your sword back up to its peak performance, before turning back to the Enderman, who was standing there ominously.
"One more thing," it muttered. "Let me just look at you... one time." This thing's English was better than you imagined.
"I guess," you spoke nervously. Looking up to see its flat black head, and just edging the rim of those pure purple eyes, butterflies fluttered throughout your stomach. You'd never looked anyone in the eyes this romantically, let alone a creature of the night in Minecarft.
Sighing, you finally took a glimpse at them. What was not expected, however, was to see the Enderman's eyes widen, as if with fear and anguish, shaking ever so slightly, before running towards you.
Instantly, you regained your state of mind, trying to run away. But alas, your ex-lover-now-nightmare chased you back to the pond where you met, as you jumped in the water to avoid it.
Looking back, the Enderman was nowhere to be seen. Had you outrun it? Were you safe... for now?
Thoughts racing around your head, you sigh once more, trying to stay calm after the horrific sequence of events that just unfolded. Trying to think about it only hurt though, and you felt as if you were still being watched.
And, by some stroke of unfortunate luck, you felt something tight grab your body from behind, ripping you out of the water to an untimely fate.
God, I hated writing this.
Zhongli x Reader (Osmanthus Wine)
● ————————— GENSHIN
→ ABOUT / Zhongli loves Osmanthus Wine; it just so happens that you are that glass of wine. "Osmanthus Wine tastes the same as I remember ... but where are those who share the memory~ "
→ DEMOGRAPHIC / gn ! reader (you are Osmanthus Wine)
→ CW / osmanthus wine + weird descriptions of him drinking wine (slightly NSFW???? idfk)
→ EXTRA / I'm writing this while my family is arguing about US Politics at 12:30 AM /srs
——————————————————————————————————
A fresh glass of Osmanthus Wine sat on the table ahead of Zhongli; to be fair, he couldn't afford it, so he had to borrow some money from Childe before Zhongli could enjoy his coming feast, but it was all in good favor, because admittedly, he'd saved Childe from a near death experience a few days prior.
However, this Osmanthus Wine was different from the other glasses; it had a consciousness. You looked up at Zhongli, though he didn't seem to notice your presence. We meet again, you thought, bracing yourself before he took the first sip with those magical lips of his. Years later, after our first encounter; I taste the same, I can assure you, but where are those who share the memory?
Zhongli sighed, "Osmanthus Wine is as beautiful as I remember," he wraps his hand around the glass you're situated in, his fingers almost trembling from how long he's gone without a glass of this magical liquor. The gloves felt soft lifting you into the air, as he tipped it in the air lightly, swirling you around in the glass confinement before finally raising the fine drink to his lips and taking the first sip.
Oh, Archons, it felt amazing. His tender lips sweet like getting your first kiss from him; that small part of your liquid state tingling as it slid down his throat, sighing a pleased sigh after swallowing. "And it tastes the same as I remember ... oh, where are those who share those memories?"
Zhongli closed his eyes, remembering back to a time with his comrades where he could enjoy fresh glasses of wine in a peaceful Liyue, untattered by conflict from the Rex Lapis Crisis and the Fatui's trade antics.
The city bustled with chatter and footsteps, and the trees glistened in the night air as orange leaves fell symbolizing the changing from Summer to Autumn.
He prepared himself for another taste of the delicious mixture; once more, you were raised to his lips and sipped on again, this time hearing the faint swishing in his warm mouth, before he swallowed yet again, enjoying the taste even more. You lingered in his mouth until the waiter came back, holding a clipboard and a stylish black and gold pen. "May I take your order for an entrée?" He asked, holding the pen to the paper, smirking underneath his big round glasses.
"Mm, yes, I believe I am ready. If I can, I'll take the... Slow-Cooked Bamboo Shoot Soup, please," he continued to read the menu a bit longer, just in case.
The guy quickly scribbled down his order on the paper, before thanking Zhongli, twirling around, and heading back inside the restaraunt.
Hurrying to finish his drink so he could order another -- considering the bill wasn't on him -- Zhongli drank faster, enjoying every last sip of your taste.
Almost finishing the drink, you sighed in relief, as you swayed into his mouth, to be replaced by more Osmanthus Wine.
"Osmanthus Wine really does taste as I remember," he smiled. He'd have to get Childe in on this sometime.

16, 17, 18, and 19! If you can please
From the Behind the Scenes of Fic Writing meme:
16. What is your most underrated fic?
I...I’m not sure. . I don’t ‘rate’ my own fics. Perhaps a fic I haven’t finished, called ‘Beyond Your Shadow’s Reach’, but it’s stalled, and I still feel bad when people send me comments hoping I’ll finish it.
17. What fic are you most proud of?
The ones I’ve finished, honestly. Besides that, the 14th or Final Doctor regenerating into the Human!Doctor for Rose. I wrote it feverish and not particularly hopeful about it, but a lot of people took the idea and made it so much better, I can’t even complain.
18. What is a line/scene you’re really proud of? Give us the DVD commentary for that scene.
Not a particular scene, but the god forsaken medical terminology in my Black Jack fic was SO tedious, but I tried to make it based in actual science as much as possible. I also watched a lot of ‘True stories of the ER’.... for research (and fun).
19. Who is the easiest/hardest character for you to write about? Why?
R. Dorothy Wayneright. I love the girl, but she’s an android, making getting into her head realistically a pain in the BUTT.
(This is just a meme fanfic that I wrote a couple of days ago and contemplated uploading it, so don't expect quality here)
While escaping the Handeemen studio is still their primary goal. Host could not resist the temptation of shredded cheese that Scout said was in Riley's fridge. Host Decided to raid Rileys Fridge for the shredded gold.
When he finally found Riley's fridge, he quickly opened it and started pushing aside various bits of puppet and human organs in the refrigerator. After a minute of looking through the fridge, They finally found a bag half-filled with cheddar shredded cheese.
After looking at the expiration on the back of the bag, they noticed that it was expired by a month.
"No, no, no, this can't be real." The host thought as he fell on his knees and started weeping.Scout looked at her host in pure confusion; why was he crying over a simple bag of cheese?. Before she could scold her host for his idiocy, they both heard footsteps, which made them turn around. Behind them was Riley with Rosco right behind her, looking at the two of them in disgust.
"Give me my shredded cheese back, or you two will be Rosco's snack," Riley rhymed as Scouts host got out of his kneeling position to face her face to mask.
The host shook his head as he tightened his grip on the bag currently in his right hand and quickly thought of a plan.
He turned his back to Riley and Rosco to close the fridge door. When he approached the refrigerator door that held many horrors within it, he closed the fridge and quickly darted towards the nearest door near them. But before he could make it a couple of feet, Rileys host quickly grabbed the collar of his button-up shirt and pulled him and Scout back towards her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Riley asked as Rosco started walking towards them, growling and bearing his teeth.
Host had to think of something quick, or they were going to die because of his greed for cheese. Maybe it was the fact he hasn't eaten in what felt like days, or he misses the delectable taste of cheddar, but even if it was expired, his lust for something to eat overtook his reason and made him make a reckless mistake.
Host brushed off these thoughts of past reflection and focused on the expired bag of cheese that was in his hand,."This is something I'm not proud of, but I have to do it to survive," Host thought as he could hear Riley's insane laughter at their peril.
Host threw the bag of cheese across the room, which made Rosco start to chase it due to sheer animal curiosity. Riley noticed this and begun whistling for Rosco to come back, which was in vain.
Noticing an opening, Host swiftly drove his elbow into the side of Riley's head, her wooden face cracking slightly under the immense force of his elbow. Rileys host let go of his collar due to the agony they were both sharing.Host took this chance to run through the door again without interruption. As he ran through the dark hallways, they both could hear Riley screaming at Rosco. "You Stupid Mutt, Find Them And Rip Their Fucking Throats Out!" Riley screamed out as she continued to hold her face that was broken slightly.
By the time Rosco could make it out of the door, both Host and Scout were far gone. After five minutes of running through the maze of hallways that was the Handeemen Warehouse, Host started to slow down to a stop as he tried to catch his breath.
"What the fuck was that? Because of you, we almost died," Scout yelled. Host looked away in embarrassment as Scout continued to berate him for his actions. Eventually, she calmed down after the 50th insult she threw his way. "Why did you even want the cheese? It was all moldy and nasty," she asked and quickly realized that he couldn't answer his question.
He wanted to answer her question, but due to the stitches in his mouth, his right to talk was taken away from him; all he could do was simple nods to answer yes or no questions but not this one. No amount of nods could explain why he was so reluctant to release the rancid cheese.
Making a soft sigh, Host looked towards the hallway in front of them and started walking again so he can escape and go home and maybe start that talk show that Scout mentioned.
