Favorite character: that’s so hard, i love all of them! if i had to pick, i’d say garnet with pearl and rose closely following. 

Least Favorite character: mm, probably lapis? and i still very much like lapis, i just don’t like her as much as other people seem to.

Character I find most attractive: ROSE.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): the way the writing treated lars ever since he died that one time is mm. rough, man.

💐 Do your drawing suit your aesthetics?

Well, sort of.  Most of the time, save for my three OCs, characters are wearing clothes I love, but would never wear, or canon clothing.  Jess (my OC who shares the name of my online handle) wears some of my more casual stuff (as does James, because I have some non-binary headspace that I’m only starting to explore, but not just because I like pants), but I also wear a lot of geeky/swing clothes for my workplace (I’m the school’s Ms. Frizzle) that I tend not to draw.  So, to get back to the question, I draw things I like, which can count as aesthetics, but usually exaggerated and fantastical beyond anything I have or wear in real life, and also depends on the characters.

🌗 Is night or day better for drawing?

You know, I was immediately thinking of answering ‘night, duh, no question’, but 5 years ago, when I worked full time in a museum, I drew during all of my downtime during the day there.  So I draw whenever I feel I can put stuff aside and concentrate on drawing, which these days is usually at night. I also, to my room mate’s joy (and horror) tend to like to have crime documentaries running in the background, so night is best for that…. (though lately I’ve been enjoying Baumgartner Restoration videos… they’re soothing, and you can’t take the museum out of me, sorry).
