EVERYONE FUCKING KNEW THE DAY HE ROLLED BACK INTO TOWN AND WAS LIKE 'YOOO WHATTUP, I FOUND RELIGON IN A CAT CULT AND I ADOPTED A CHILD' they knew he was GONE.
They fucking knew before everyone's minds were hooked up
Things I am considering about the meme Lich so late at night
-He and the entire Skeletal community of Memery are probably all sort of weirdly mentally synched together. Like in the sense of 'oh Lich is MAD! WE SHOULD BE MAD TOO!' or 'Lich is sad, so we should be Sad Too.' A hive mind of sorts made up of each unique individuals who are sometimes on the complete same page as everyone else emotionally and mentally.
-Which is how he basically laid siege to the capital in a hysterial rage filled FIT and rode in on a giant monster he made out of skeletons and corpses. Because everyone was on the same page as him 'GET MAD AND GET EVEN. DESTROY' and they only chilled out and went back home when Meme Lich chilled out.
-Which is why Meme Lich is always so docile and agreeing and pleasent with everyone and everything-it makes the townspeople calm and at ease.
-And even if he's far away, probably doing ambassador work and what not, everyone back home still has a sort of read of what's going on in the weird political sphere of things. So there's really no secrets.
-Meme Lich is a leader and ruler who doesn't lie to his people, can't lie to his people, wouldn't want to EXIST without his skelly people and keeps calm and carries on for his people and they LOVE him for that.
-I'm 99% sure there's ways to temporarily break the synch between Meme Lich and the Skelly People of Memery, but I think Emotionally he wouldn't want to do that for too long.
-And I also have the concept that everyone in town likes Holly, the viking fighter drow for the sole reason that the Meme Lich likes him. So it's like 'if our head boss says you're an okay guy, then you're an okay guy too! Here have some toasted sheep leg, we don't need it!'
-Memery is also probably an artisan town after it was destroyed because the local population doesn't need to eat or farm to survive, so they can actually do more 'creative' things, like make art, write texts, education. Anything food based that they make is probably exported to people who actually eat-and this in turn would sort of make Memery a very wealthy town if 100% of their food products goes into trading and shipping as well as any sort of non-edible goods.
The Meme Lich's voice claim is 'Cecelia and her Selfhood.'
Also Lich Witch's name is Cecilia as well.
That being said, I frequently forget, Meme Lich's name is Merrow.
Merrow and Cecilia
