the thing with tumblr is when someone posts a meme we all know our duty. We meme in response. But on facebook, meme culture is void of life. Everyone just prattles on in their own bubbles. Like memes go to facebook to die. You send out memes only to get a “like” on your comment while everyone else makes individual comments about the original post trying to be the funniest. When Despicable Me came out, I had zero (0) interest in seeing it. But then everyone loved it. I started to think... maybe, just maybe it’s actually not totally dumb. There was like a 10-15% chance I was going to watch it eventually. But then the minions JUST. KEPT. BEING. EVERYWHERE. It was completely random and made no sense.
