Actually drawing Maddie as "Ambiguously 1990s kid to ambiguously 2000s kid" was REALLY fun (also embarrassing as apparently weird spacetime witch stuff started when she was 12, so WHOOPS, read ur source material MF).
So, open thing for today and tomorrow, if you've got OCs who age, or just want different "Mah baby in this period fashion, mah baby at this period fashion" views, send me their description and/or the time period. If you've got an actual outfit from an image search or something, send that over.
Basically: OCs, time appropriate fashion, silly MF drawings.
SpaNedPort (Hetalia)
Someone's into blackrom, I see. XD. Sorry Anon, some jokes have to be made.
Who’s the messiest one: Spain, always spain, though Portugal's a close second. She likes trying to make the Netherlands explode (preferably angling the explosion towards Spain at the last possible minute). The Netherlands has literally tried to strangle both of them when they tried to step foot in his kitchen once, with intention to bake.
Who feels the most uncomfortable about PDA: It's a tie between Portugal and the Netherlands on this one. Portugal normally wouldn't give three fucks, and in fact loves to make the Netherlands "I hate you" squirm with well timed hugs and kisses, but Spain is SO into PDA that Portugal feels really uncomfortable.
Who’s the funniest drunk: Probably Portugal. I've heard that Spanish people find the Portuguese just damn weird even while sober, and my head canon of her is that presents herself as being really suave and clever until you get to know her, and discover that she has the most annoying sense of humor and the weirdest taste imaginable. When she's drunk, of course, the presentation comes crashing down. The Netherlands is by contrast a very stoic drunk, and Spain is a really sleepy drunk.
Who texts the most: The Netherlands uses his phone the most, since he's always trying to get work done, and Portugal probably keeps losing hers, but Spain has to meet up with Prussia and France somehow, so he probably texts the most.
Who has the most embarrassing taste in music: The Netherlands. HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THEY'VE BROUGHT TO EUROVISION IN THE PAST 10 YEARS?
Who reads the most: The Netherlands. Portugal is really into travel guides, and Spain really likes to drag people into books stores to find poetry volumes, though.
Who’s better with kids: ... Given Hetalia's habit of infantalizing colonized nations (one of the super creepy things about the concept) I'd say they are all pretty shit with kids. 100% terrible in unique ways, there's so much horribleness it's hard to pick the worst. But maybe not as bad Belgium.
Who’s the one that fixes things around the house: Germany /brick'd for Eurozone political humor. They do not own the same house. The Netherlands' kitchen would never survive. Still, he's probably the most handy with the tools and appliances.
Who’s got the weirdest hobby: Someone has clearly never seen a Dutch Romcom. When the Netherlands started getting into the movie biz, that was really really weird. Generally though, the title is held by Portugal. She's always looking for new hobbies and is inventively quirky.
Who cooks and who cleans up: Spain and Portugal, and grudgingly the Netherlands. Only because the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen gives him heart palpitations.
