Say Five Things You Like About Yourself...

I was tagged by weresquirrel... but the ask got lost in the void when i was trying to answer it...

I am really good with sewing machines and sewing things... i get to make alll sorts of pretties ( and it DEF. paid off at SDCC ... I’m still grinning like a loon about that )

I have SUPERPOWERS!!! (this is more of a love/hate thing) thanks to my ‘lovely’ PTSD... I have been blessed with hyper-awareness... i tend to notice tiny little things that a lot of people miss... and i’ve got an excellent eye for detail.  the superpowers are a pain in the petunia a lot of times but we’re being positive here.

I am a “freak of genetics” ... my outsides are pretty awesome... I’m tall-ish and skinny with an hour-glass figure plus my colouring lends itself to being a nice blank slate for cosplaying...

my closet is magical... not entirely about me... but i am responsible for collecting everything that is in it.  i have enough clothes to last me over five months without needing to wash anything. my current favourite style of cardigans, pleated mini skirts, tall socks, chucks makes me look like i’ve stepped out of a comic book... i love it!

1: What was your first cosplay?

2: Favorite thing to cosplay?

I love big fluffy skirts i can bounce around in… Probably why i do so many lolita-esque variations.

Also I love doing genderbends… getting into character’s heads and figuring out how they would do things as a different gender… It also lets me flex my creativity…

9: When did you start cosplaying?

what i consider my first cosplay was back in 2007… I’ve always been into costumes and dressing up (halloween is the best of holidays) … but i didn’t start ACTIVELY cosplaying and going to conventions til 2009

11: Which cosplay took you the longest time to make?

I don’t knowwww… First one that comes to mind is my Eighth Doctrix. I was still kinda newbly with cosplaying and it involved corsets and ruffles and soo many pieces… plus all the updating i’ve done to it… It’s still one of my most favourite to look at… even if it’s a pain in the booty to wear.

BUT… with Cullen still unfinished and ALL the pieces that go into that one, My bet is that when it’s done it will win the prize of most work/longest build time

OC Meme Thing: my Warden Siari did her best to keep her head down in the Alienage, but always wound up getting into fistfights, usually because of her cousins.

Maidhriel thought it was stupid of the Keeper to send her sister to the Conclave, and even stupider for her sister to actually go… And just look what happened. Malenna gets left alone for a short while and she ends up caught in an explosion, becomes some sort of Shem hero, and –by the dread wolf– actually falls in love with a shem.  Maidh’s face is bright red from facepalming so hard.

Guess it’s time to pick up her bow and rescue her idiot little sister.
