Why is Twig called Twig?

I tried to explain this meme once before, I hope I can do it now! It all comes from this meme about salary. My friends and I often remember it and use it usually to complain about the small salary, saying we get a twig instead. You know, like the meme.

One day when I showed my friend my old drawing with Khira and Gunnar, the picture reminded her of this very meme. And she started calling Khira a ‘’twig‘’.

Often when I showed her other drawings of her, she always called her that. And I liked it so much, and it made me laugh, that I decided to use it as her real nickname. Now her nickname is Twig!

My muse has been having the same nightmare for weeks now and it’s taking it’s toll. Send me “You look exhausted.” for my muse’s response.

     He thought he’d ventured far enough not to be chanced upon by anyone passing. Though, with spiritual pressure as unconstrained as his, it’s not surprising to be found so easily. It makes getting away on his own difficult here. 

     His head turns at the comment and he stops his aimless walk, but it’s dark enough here, he’s surprised Hisagi noticed. 

     “Just... getting air. Is there a curfew or something?”
