Loki looked around, trying to see what the other was talking about. His eyebrow raised. His gaze fell back to the other. “No. What do you claim to have heard?” He pushed his hair out of his eyes. He was still a bit tired from the gala but managing as best he could.

“Mind where you walk, you pathetic, weak midgardian.” Loki hissed through gritted teeth. He had held it together pretty well until now but there were too many around him for his comfort. Even in Asgard during the events Loki would stick to the side, observing but not participating. Here somehow he was in the middle of it. He was not in the mood for any of this and even less for for getting crashed into.

"How many fingers am I holding up?"

“Uh, ten? you’re holding up both your hands.” Sam said, his vision blurry. Satan helping him felt like a dream. A dream that was an inside joke in his own head. “Look if you’re going torture me, just do it.” He was in the perfect state to inflict mental and physical pain.

“Yeah, yeah, I might have concussion.” Sam mumbled. There was worse things he’d been through than a bump on the head. “Who are you?”

The spirit didn’t sleep often, but when he did it was in odd places. This time he’d managed to curl himself up on one of the benches in the tavern, tired enough he found himself unaware that what he’d thought was a pillow of some sort was in fact the thigh of a young woman.
