Figure of what ?
Have you ever studied figure of speech in school?
Well I have.
It was traumatising, to remember what type of figure of speech it was, and moreover to remember it’s spelling.
I’m bad with spellings, everyone’s not good at it. I’m good to craft; everyone’s not good at it. (see!?)
Our teachers would ask us to memorise dozens of them, then 5 would be asked during the exam, each weighing 1 mark, if you got the spelling wrong then boom ! whole thing gone. So unfair!
Last evening, K, my husband, and I were trying to recollect few them..was fun.
Onomatopoeia is my favourite, I like the way it sounds…
Wikipedia has listed almost 90 odd of them …
