Humbling & Fulfilling
This is just one rare opportunity that I gladly accepted today from our College Secretary. It is a blessing to be a part of another milestone of these future doctors. We were asked, as Registered Nurses soon to be... *crossed fingers* Licensed Physicians to facilitate this Pre-Clinical Workshop for the upcoming Clerks this School Year 2019-2020.
It humbles me to be able to teach and share some of the skills and knowledge I acquire from Nursing to our Medicine journey (plus tricks & hacks of how things are done efficiently). Experience is still the best teacher but a glimpse of how these skills are to be done are essential. It humbles me to be in this position and be able to share something that was also taught to me by my fellow doctors when I was still starting out as well as a clerk and now, an intern. Continous learning & sharing of knowledge, I say.
This day I bravely accepted, even with an inch of doubt of my capability, this task to inspire, share and teach these doctors I will work with in the future.
Go where your heart takes you. And so l, I did. ❤️
