Okay no tbh except the blatant neglect and disregard of certain characters' heroic actions and redeeming qualities that in most cases heavily outweigh any of the things some hate them for, this is a pretty good fandom. It'd be nice if less were stuck in the Katniss POV and could actually see actions and intentions from another side, but in general I really do love the THG fandom. Especially a pretty damn vast majority of the rp community. I've met some great people through this fandom and some brilliant writers and I wouldn't change them for the world. Every fandom has a few bad eggs, so to speak, but from what I can tell we don't have even half the drama of a few fandoms out there. I see a lot of shit go down in various fandoms but unless I simply am not around when it happens or just don't pay any mind to it, I rarely (if not never) see any major shit kicking off in our fandom. So I wouldn't stay away from it. I'd actually highly recommend it. It just lets itself down in that so many just take Katniss' opinion on something and stick solidly to it without considering the other side of the situation, which often causes unjustified hate of generally good and heroic characters (or those who are neglected by both author and fandom). A few examples... Haymitch, Effie, Gale (who I will admit I don't generally like, but it's more a general dislike than a wrong assumption about his actions or intentions), the Careers, to name a few.
