Eeeeugh, I think I messed up with trying to get Danse as a follower?
Like, I did all of Blind Betrayal and made sure Danse didn’t die (and oh my god, do I have some headcanon feels about that scene), but I stopped before talking to Maxson on the Prydwen because if I’m reading the Wiki right, doing that automatically starts the next BoS quest, which will lock me out of the Railroad path (and I’m trying to stay cool with the Railroad this time around).
I just went to try and pick him up to go help me clear some synths out of Malden for “Memory Interrupted” (and, ngl, also to try and put him in better clothes) but all he’ll say is, “You’re a good soldier.” Danse, no. I mean, thank you, but no, come with me. Let’s kill things. You can tell me more about how much you miss your bara ex-boyfriend being in the Brotherhood.
