In “Memory of Saniwa” epilogue

To answer readers’ question, no it can’t speak IRL (Nakigistune’s fox also can’t speak IRL). Konnosuke’s voice is the one of Saniwa’s friend since the beginning so it’s like Konnosuke is split in two > the appearance of the pet of her friend, and the voice of her friend herself.

Your order takes Konnosuke aback and you stare at it with every ounce of determination you have. "Don't you dare make everyone worry! You must assist them! I must assist them! We... we must...!"

Konnosuke is gapping and trembling at that part of your speech he's never heard before, but Honebami and the Scouting Party actually smile connivingly at one another without any doubts in their eyes. In exchange, I only request that none of you dare and break on me. This will be my only and final order."

Second-to-last chapter, get ready for a final fight with everyone invading the Imperial Palace Battlegrounds.

Featuring the War Campaign, one last night camping under the stars, many goodbyes bad for the heart including a stolen kiss, a touching salute at dawn, a race against time to open the Battlegrounds at sunrise, a dash forward, much fighting and decisive moves, some disregard for the Court etiquette, and finally the Kebiishi Commanders about to meet their fate.
