What memories do you deal in.

Anything big or small,
or anything at all,
something you'd like to forget,
whatever it is, I will be in your debt,
but not for long.

Now that is rude,
careful, those are meant to delude.

For what you wish in return,
you will receive something you yearn,
but first you must surrender your memories to me,
I promise that they will be buried far, deeper than the North Sea.
if you have a bad memory that is weighing on you today, here is a good one that you can hang on to, instead:
wrapping yourself up in thick layers of blankets on the porch of a hotel looking out onto the sea. your breath steaming the air as you watch the slowly shifting colors of an early november sunrise. black to purple to blue to green to gold to yellow and everything in between. leaning your head in weathered wood and smiling out at a world that belongs only to you and the sea. a lifetime’s worth of sunrises have never felt so much like a secret as this one, and now it is shared between the both of us
you can hold onto this memory as long as you want, and if you decide that you want the heavy one back you can take it. but, for now, hold onto this memory of peace and let it breathe
Cyberculture has become synonymous with the so-called ‘new edge’ of the subcultural avant-garde; a bricolage of technoculture, neo-’60s psychedelia, transcendentalism, designer ‘smart’ drugs, modern primitivism and ‘strechnology’ (the do-it-yourself street ethic of finding a use for things). In a much more specialised sense, cyberculture is associated with cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is equally difficult to adequately define. However, most accounts tend to portray it as the wired successor of the punk sensibility of the late 1970s… Cyberpunk is a lifestyle, a way of living in a telematic society, as well as an attitude towards it. It is a hybrid blend of info-tech obsession, Situationist politics, poststructuralist savvy and liberterian utopics.
