It was with a dreadful numbness that he watched his Queen walk up to the platform at which she was supposed to meet her end.

But surely surely she would break free at the last moment, right? There was no way that she would stand still while that loathsome blue thrust his sword to her, right? This was Queen, his Queen, after all. She wouldn't give up and she wouldn't, couldn't be killed.

Desperately he clutched onto that straw of hope. Because if it turned out to not be true he didn't know what he would do. No , a lie, he would know. He wouldn't rest until the Blue King was dead and the Blue Clan not only scattered but smashed and not able to recover. And he would complitely annihalate his Clan before his very eyes and make sure the Blue King knew it was because of him

However , now he clung tightly to his notion of hope praying in feverish whispers.

"Everything will be alright. It will turn out okay. Queen will live, laugh and escape."
