Friendly reminder to report any listings you see on Etsy that claim they can bookbind a copy of your favourite fanfiction for you. Exchanging money in any way when it comes to fanfiction creates a very murky legal grey area that never turns out well and paying for professional bound copies of fanfiction (that is copywritten material that you don't have the rights to) draws unnecessary attention to you that could spark ugly legal consequences.

You should also report people who promote or show off bound copies of fanfiction - or at the very least, remind them that they are doing a stupid, awful disservice to the fanfiction community.

Bookbinding fanfiction puts fanfiction as a whole in way more jeopardy legally than Project 2025 ever could.

As someone slowly coming to terms with the fact that I don’t have a good relationship with food, I’m still struck by how much that little detail in manacled hurts that Hermione specifically told Draco she loved salty fried foods (chips off a greasy spoon) and then spent her first year being fed regularly eating nothing but unsalted and boiled foods. The exact opposite of what she told him she’d want before she lost her memory.
