A contribution to Mend It March: a repair done using a patch with the sashiko method on the thigh of some jeans
These jeans are very sturdy and by mending this hole I hope I can keep wearing them for a long time!

My favorite Mend it March yet! My favorite nightgown had a bunch of little holes in in, so used some lace I had saved from some worn out underwear and made little patches!
Some visible mending for Mend It March
My favorite crop top developed a hole in the outer layer and I sewed it back together! It took me less than 5min to be able to keep this beauty ♡ I am extremely amateur and I hand sew everything so I am so proud I managed to do this without sewing it into the second layer or making it easy to notice.
One for Mend It March. This is a pure wool cardigan I got from the charity shop for a fiver. These things go for £60 when new, so I put iron on patches over the moth holes and called it good.
Some crappy mending for Mend it March! My fleece lined stockings were completely worn through at the heel, so I attempted to patch them with some fabric I had stashed away (probably from another piece of clothing too far gone to mend). It's not pretty but it works! I also sewed closed some holes in the toes.
It's not as uncomfortable as it looks, I promise. It feels odd when I first put them on but after that I don't even notice.
I refuse to buy new ones until there's not enough left to patch, and even then I plan to cut the feet off and wear them as footless tights. They mostly only wear out at the feet anyway
Some more crappy mending for Mend it March. For some reason I wear through the fingers of this type of light gloves really fast. I closed up the holes and reinforced the finger tips that hadn't worn through yet. The fingers that had holes are definitely shorter than before, but because the gloves are stretchy it doesn't really affect the fit much.
Once they wear out too much to mend, I'm going to try knitting my own. I'll start keeping my eyes open at thrift stores for appropriate yarn.
A much needed mending job to my oldest chrochet cardigans sleeve cuffs. Made this 6 years ago and its cuffs were so tattered. Cutting off the old applied ribbing and re-crocheting the cuffs from a sorta matching blue lol.
