I went on my postal providers website and just plunked in the parcel dimensions and weight and then picked several random countries, I then took an average cost from about 3 different International countries and made that my international shipping charge. Sometimes I lose a few dollars on the shipping and sometimes I gain a few dollars, but I think in the end it all averages out.

See I thought about doing that, but Etsy has this new calculated shipping thing that I’m trying to figure out. I think I’m getting it and in theory, I just put in the dimentions of the plush, the buyer selects what kind of shipping they want, and it should be calculated automatically. Still makes me nervous though. Thank you for the advice!

Mengy Commission Info - Examples above! Starting price: $25 (shipping is extra)

Every Monday at approx 8am PST, several commission slots will open up for 2” Mengy style amigurumi plushie. The commissions can be any kind of animal, real or fantasy! (No humans, sorry!) Commissions will be made during that week and shipped out on the following Sunday, and then the commission slots will open up again on the next Monday! No 8 week waiting lists! Yay!

Commissions will be accepted only through my Etsy store. Commission slots will be posted as a buyable item in my Etsy store with a deposit of $25. When purchasing the slot, let me know what you would like commissioned. If more details are needed or, if the amigurumi is very detailed (example: 2 headed dragon, white kyurem) , I’ll message you to let you know any extra costs and you can decide if you would like to continue or have the deposit refunded.

Currently I can only accept 2” plushie commissions as I only have yarn in stock for that size.

Commissions Opening Soon!

Just a reminder that my commissions queue will be opening on Sept 1! I'll be open to taking any animal related amigurumi! They will be approx 2" and be done in my big head, small body Mengy style! I'll only be taking commissions for that size, as all my yarn in stock is best to produce the 2" size.

Price will be starting at $25 for most and more complex designs will be more. For example, everything in the above pictures would cost $25. Plus shipping (Although since I already have patterns for everything in the pics, they are available in my Etsy store for $20).

Start thinking about what you want to commission! Beat the Christmas rush!

Etsy Store restocked!

I've just restocked my Etsy store will all my classic amigurumi plushies. Take a look if you've always wanted to own one! I'll be adding in some new designs in the next week as well. (Vulpix and Ninetales will be coming soon!) Also, I'll be opening up for commissions on Sept 1 2014, so start brainstorming on what you might want!

Wow, I can't believe my Baby Charmander post has gotten over 1000 notes! I was hoping I would just get over 100. You guys have blown my mind! THANK YOU!

Since it has been such a great success (and it's still going till April 6) I'll definitely be doing more giveaways. I already have my next one all lined up. I was busy working all weekend and I've got Baby Squirtle and Baby Bulbasaur finished, except I'm not completely thrilled with the green coloured thread I have for Bulbasaur. I found a better colour online, so I'll be giving away several test versions of baby Bulbasaur.
