2189. Road to Ninja Ino and Menma; theme first kiss.

He kissed her, and she fainted.

Menma knew it wasn't because of anything his fault, he thought. But when he leaned in and pressed his lips to the blonde's, blue eyes had grown wide and she promptly passed out, nearly falling to the ground, had it not been for his reflex.

He was left with rather dirty looks and Menma couldn't be bothered to tell them that it wasn't what it seemed; she had fainted when he kissed him. Although, he thought dryly, that also didn't sound as legitimate as he would have thought.

Sighing, the boy hoisted her higher up onto his back and continued his way to her apartment, frowning.

The minute she wakes up, he thought bitterly, going to kiss her again. And see if she faints. Again.
