Public Relations || Violet & Harry
Violet looked around the so-called Ministry of magic. Most people were coming in via floo-powder she could see. She couldn’t help but find the entire place a little ridiculous. Everyone was in robes or dressed like they were still in the 1950s. She herself wore a one-of-a-kind lavender dress made by some up-and-coming New York designer. It looked impeccable on her, as all thing did. After all, that was what she had studied in her own magic school--etiquette, or, in the case of a Diviner, how to always look stunning and perfect. The result had her seeming very out of place in this bustling place.
She walked with an efficient but unhurried stride, her nude heels clicking on the marble floors. People looked at her, of course they did, but she hardly noticed. When she came to the office meant for her she was a little disappointed at the size. Spatial magic was fairly simplistic, but the fact that none of the wizards in this building had considered that she might need some more room...well perhaps she shouldn’t be so hard on them. This way she got to decorate it herself.
Within the half hour her office was three times the size it had been before, and decorated with a victorian-style lavender interior. By that time her first meeting was supposed to be in, Harry Potter, the celebrity, the boy who lived. He was an important aura now, and supposedly her new partner in transitioning. There were problems on both sides, both Wizards and Diviners thought themselves somewhat superior to the other.
She looked up from her desk as Harry was sent in and a smile wihout any real warmth spread over her feature, “Mr. Potter, please sit down. Would you like some tea or coffee?”
