Their backstory is similar to many that you've already seen: Prime and the Autobots departed their planet in their spacecraft, searching for new sources of energy after Cybertron was drained dry, only for Megatron and his Decepticons to follow in their warship, and forcibly board the Ark. After 4 million years of slumber, Teletraan I was brought online by a mysterious quake, and set out on this strange planet. There was no suitably advanced technology on this planet for the computer to scan; further complicating things was the dangerous amount of magical radiation in the planet's atmosphere. In order to protect the sleeping Autobots and Decepticons from the magic’s deleterious effects, it thus decided to scan the local lifeforms, creating synthetic organic flesh coverings—based on the dominant species of magical warrior women. Thus began the Magician Wars.
