If Only

You had just left work for the day a few hours ago, you were sitting in your car looking through old photos of you and your boyfriend Kihyun. You missed him so much but since he had a psycho break a few months ago and you’ve been so busy you haven’t had the time to go see him. You decided that photos weren’t enough, so you drive to the hospital he was currently being held in. The drive was short and quiet just how you liked it. You go to the hospital and went inside getting your visitors pass before going to the room where they would let you visit with Kihyun. Before Kihyun came in the doctor pulled you aside and told you that Kihyun is actually doing good enough to go home with you, but not to tell him yet since he can’t be released till next week. You nodded and when you went back to the room Kihyun was waiting there for you. You smiled and ran over as he hugged you and picked you up. “Hello, my beautiful girl. I’ve missed you so much. I hope you haven’t been too lonely without me.” He said as he put you down. You looked up at him with tears in your eyes since you missed him so much but you knew he needed this time in the hospital. He smiled before pulling you close again. “Please don’t cry, it won’t be like this forever baby. It hurts me to see you hurting.” You nodded and thought of how to surprise him for when he comes home. He noticed you were lost in thought, so he tapped your shoulder. “What are you thinking about beautiful?” he asks softly, curiosity in his eyes. You shake your head and smile up at him. “I’m just thinking about the future…when you can finally come home with me.” He nods “If Only this never happened, If Only I never got stuck in here you wouldn’t be sad because I’d be home with you every day to keep you safe and happy.” His words made more tears fall from your eyes, you missed him so much. All you wanted was Kihyun to be home with you. You spent your time catching up with Kihyun and taking a few pictures with him so you have some new ones. Once your time was up and you had to leave you nodded sadly and looked to Kihyun who had teary eyes. “How long will it be till I see you again? I’ll go crazy without you here.” You felt bad leaving him, but you knew he’d be coming home soon. “I’ll be back in a week if not sooner, okay?” he nodded as a few tears slipped down his cheeks. You wiped his tears and kissed him one last time. “I love you and I’ll be back to see you again soon.” You said before walking to the exit.

               You spent that whole week getting things ready to surprise Kihyun for when you get to bring him home, you decorated the house with welcome home presents just for him. you got his favorite snacks, movies, drinks, and a trail of rose petals leading to your bedroom where you have some candles you both like waiting to be lit. You wanted everything to be perfect tonight. You drove to the hospital and the doctor told you that you can bring him home tonight. You smiled and went to go see him since you got to tell him he could leave they actually let you in his room but there was still a guard nearby just in case. You saw Kihyun was still asleep so you laid in his bed beside him and gently kissed his nose. Kihyun slowly woke up and looked at you. “Am I dreaming or are you really here right now?” You giggled. “I’m really here babe, I have some news for you.” He looked at you curiously. “What is it?” you smiled before saying “you get to come home with me today.” His expression brightened as he jumped up in excitement. “really? I can finally go home? Thank god I’ve missed you so much. Now I can spend every day with you again. It’ll be perfect.” You giggled as he rambled on. “baby, get ready so we can go home. I have surprises for you there.” His smile grew even more as he hurriedly got his belongings together in a bag so he could go home. “All ready.” He said as he finished, you nodded and stood up before taking his hand in yours. You both thanked the doctor as you walked out to your car. You got to the car and got in the driver’s seat as he got in the passenger’s seat. You started driving before you spoke. “Hyunie, you can’t keep letting your violent tendencies get the best of you, I wouldn’t want you to ever end up back here again.” He nodded as you spoke. “Well next time, I promise I won’t get caught. It’s way too hard to control my urges especially when other guys look at you like you’re not my property. It really makes me mad that other guys can’t see that you belong to me. Especially that guy I had to kill, he just couldn’t grasp that you were mine, he was too flirty and touchy. It had to be done.” You nodded as he spoke. You’ve always known how Kihyun was but it didn’t make you love him any less, sure sometimes he scared you or hurt you but you found it somewhat endearing. You got home and parked the car as you both got out and inside. That whole night he spent showering you with affection, love, and care. You missed him so much, you were so happy he was home. You both laid in bed staring at the ceiling while holding hands in silence till Kihyun spoke softly. “If Only you’d marry me…” He pulled a ring out of his pocket and looked at you. You looked at him in shock. “Really? You’re serious?” He nodded his head. You gave him a big kiss before pulling away. “is that a yes?” he said with a grin. You nodded and he slipped the ring on your finger as he kissed you again. You were so thankful that he was yours and you were his. You loved him for the way he is and he loves you for you, that’s all you could’ve ever asked for.

Ricky grumbled sitting in his blanket pile angrily, he didn’t like to be on his bed, the monsters could get him there as he held his music box and blue dog as he heard his door open alittle as he grumbled simply wanting to sleep somemore “go away!” he yelled as his food has been left untouched by him.

“No patient here!” he added holding his dog closer as he was tired and had been awake wandering his room all night, they didn’t strap him down. How irritating. But he seemed to be quite easy to handle
