What a relief...
To be myself.
My friend saw this on a coffee cup. What a wonderful sentiment! (Albeit hard to enforce on a day to day basis...)

20 years old and I've never had a boyfriend nor have I ever been kissed... So it it my personality or my weight? Because either one is fucking awesome. So while I demolish the haters with my egotistical know it all attitude and show you up with my strength, just know that whatever mean and hurtful things you think will tear me down doesn't matter because I FUCKING SLAY EITHER WAY!
Softball Goals
I meant to share this earlier but forgot. Along with my fit journey I'm also working on my mental health and gaining confidence by not beating myself up so much. A friend recommended we set goals, mine are below.
My Goals
Take a Step back every time the ball is hit and watch the ball come down before you run.
Take a deep breath and get in proper position by squaring your body to the attended target before throwing it.
Every time you do something you feel is stupid or embarrassing try to find that “winning feeling”. (Ex. When you hit that home run, last season.)
Before batting you will take a deep breath and try to make the crowd disappear. Visualize your batting form and where you want to hit the ball.
When you hit the ball, you will immediately start running.
You will hustle to the ball and not let any balls go under your legs. It’s ok to miss them it is not ok to be afraid of them.
Congratulate and support your teammates whether they make a good play or an error. I really want you to learn to communicate with people. This should be your primary goal over everything. Be friendly and outgoing, remember they are no better than you.
I'm also happy to report that thanks to these goals I was able to have fun and I played very well and had more RBIs than anyone on the team. I also didn't feel like a loser or like I embarrassed myself which is a first for me.
Okay so I have to do a goals paper for gymnastics. For each event I have to write two goal for 1-4 weeks, two goals for 4-6 weeks, and one for over the summer. I need help with my last vault one because I have really good vaults and pretty much the only deduction I get is the landing. I also need help on mental goals! If anyone can help me or give me any ideas that would be great!
Its been a while, loves the past few months have been rough..needless to say I was going through a really bad rough patch (home/university stress, depression, lady problemos) and because of this my healthy mind frame kind of went down hill. I stopped exercising for a few months....my strength decreased..gained a little here and there. My current stats are: 147lbs 36inch waist My goal isn't really with my weight, I could care less about that number. It has more to do with my waist, before all this I was at 34.5, which for me was amazing. I felt unstoppable and I felt sexy, it's time to hit that goal again. 2014 has started off (for me) on a stressful but amazing note:
finally sleeping at night
courses are going fairly well
received a grant to teach art to children
gained an extra job tutoring some amazing kids
and I started exercising when I can
The little things are making 2014 soo much better. So here it is, time to focus on my future goals with this grant and focus on my mental/physical health. Mental goals:
sleep minimum 7 hours a night
take time in the morning to relax and make delish. breakfasts
go out and be social, enjoy my time spent with my loved ones
Physical goals:
full body workouts three times a week
30-60min brisk walks when I am not feeling like going to the gym
