I am so tired of my mental health being a "problem" for other people.
Mental illness is such a double edged sword because you want people to take it seriously, but you don't want them to think your weak or incapable because you have to be strong as hell to live successfully with mental illness. You want them to respect when you just need a little time or space to recuperate, but don't want them to think you can't accomplish tasks or live your life. You want to be able to be open and talk about your mental health, but also don't want people to think they know and have all the answers as if you haven't thought up every scenario of how you could "fix yourself." It can be so frustrating.
