SYMBOLS IN MAGICK⚡️🔮 I remember watching a scene in the movie “Practical Magic” in which Sally explains to her love interest detective that the feelings he has for her is not real but is due to a spell she cast when she was a child. She takes his badge in her hand stating that the badge alone does not have the power to stop criminals in their tracks, but the symbol on his badge has power because he believes it does. This was a perfect example of magick with the use of symbols. Manipulation of symbols is used quiet frequently in some practices of magick. The most common symbols we use are through words; spoken or written. These words do not have power on their own, they have power only when spoken or written with our intentions, charged with our energy and finally projected sent to the universe by our will to cause specific change. The same goes for visual symbols. If you relate a specific purpose or power with a symbol and you have trained your mind to clearly visualize this symbol then it can easily be implemented in magickal workings. Prior to use of symbolic magick one should learn to first charge a symbol.
