After the disappearance and reappearance of his now, demonic sibling and the death of his father Scott only had Jimmy to stay by his side... With the Codfather gone he lacked the warmth the other radiated. Even through hard times just a simple smile from Jimmy would switch Scotts moods immediately.
But he's gone, leaving only a sudden note and a ring behind with promises to return one faithful day a better man than he ever was before..Of course this through Scotts council into shambles as they insisted Scott gets married immediately to protect rivendel...

He thought back to the time Jimmy saved him from being captured by Xornoth and his lackies with nothing but kindness and worrying in his eyes.
He remembers all the dates they've gone on in the flower cave they both swore to protect for as long as they live.
He thought back to the young boys in the flower garden, one flustered and stuttering the other silent and soft spoken. Yet despite their differences they bonded that very night.
Scott isn't stubborn.
He never has been since childhood, always following the rules and listening to those up above.
But he can be stubborn this once.
Even if it take weeks, Scott will be waiting.
Even after Xornoth is defeated and saved he'll be waiting.
Even as suitors flood the halls he'll be waiting.
Even as his council becomes more pushy and agitated he'll be waiting.
Even if they're bed is growing cold he'll be waiting.
Even when the cave is freezing he'll be waiting.
Scott would wait years until Jimmy's return, too see those gorgeous eyes and messy blond hair return back home. No matter what happens to him or anyone else.
