Human Pyro au drabble 2

Honestly I'm much more happier with this one!! Even though it is shorter.

Pyro watched as avid rambled through his words becoming practically incohearent as he spoke.

"I mean- just- you were rambling and slurring your words when you came- " Avid finally paused taking a moment just to breathe before turning to face Pyro. "What happened to you." he finally said looking at Pyro with... What was the look.. Pity? No. It was so much more than that.

Pyro knew he wasn't usually the prettiest sight to admire, they've accepted that ages ago with all the scars and bruises constantly left on his body from the harassment, but they knew he truly looked unruly now.

Bandages covered most of his body from his face to his chest and arms, all work done by the doc to prevent him from loosing more blood than he already had up to when he fell on Avids doorstep.

What DID just happen to him...

Vampires, right. It was vampires, mythical night creatures that feast on blood... One that fed from Pyro last night. Pinned him down and tried to take everything from him, they tried to take Pyros life from them. He felt his hand move up to touch his neck.

God he felt sick..

"It-" Pyro spoke watching Avid perk up in surprise like he didn't expect Pyro to actually answer. "It was wolves.. Like I told the doc-"

"Bullshit." Avid spat out

Pyro flinched immediately shutting up feeling a shock of pain run down his back causing him to hiss quietly in pain.

"Tell me the truth Pyro. Who- or what did that to you." Avid asked staring directly at the other as the two sat in silence one more.

Pyro took a deep breath before sighing.

"Vampires. I got attacked by vampires last night. " Pyro finally admitted voice hushed.

Also, to write the Devil's Minion first there has to be the Devil and the Minion... and so far the Minion is too old and the Devil ain't here yet (or is he....?) so we'll see how that works out 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m still hoping for that storyline to be incorporated somehow *fingers crossed*

viktor is silly guy and a trouble maker and i wish more people would realize that. i appreciate how much attention jayce’s golden retriever energy and unwavering loyalty is given but lets not forget viktor “this isn’t my bedroom” “at least you didn’t throw up” “i’m not sure how to do that sir” arcane is also silly and goofy. he probably gets up to shenanigans with jayce, probably pulls little pranks and makes sexual innuendos and snorts when he laughs. he has a quick wit and a sense of humor. it’s the reason him becoming so mechanic and cold when he combines with the hexcore is so heartbreaking, it’s like he’s a completely new person.

not to go Back On My Arcane Shit but. the scene were jayce goes to the commune is sooo brilliant it haunts me. every single person there greets him with a smile, allows him to go through letting a child guide him in one hand and holding a weapon in the other without uttering a word against it because they’re all viktor. they all know him, trust him, love him, because they’re viktor. and jayce would never hurt viktor, let alone use a weapon to do so, right?

i love that jayce carries that big ass comically large hammer everywhere. it’s like a dog carrying a humongous stick that they can’t always get through doorways but must bring with them regardless
