Vive Welcomes our newest addition, Amy Hill, LCSW, Parent Coach and Mentor in Colorado
Amy Hill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Masters of Clinical Social Work in 2002 from Arizona State University. Amy has been working therapeutically with families, children and adolescents in transition and crisis since 1994. Her clinical orientation is as a client centered therapist experienced in mindfulness practice, cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and family systems therapy. Amy's practice settings have varied over the years from residential treatment facilities, schools, young adult independent living situations, a community crisis center to in-home with clients. Creation of an environment for growth, insight and peace, no matter the setting is her passion and goal for those whose lives she is privileged to be witness to.
During her play time, Amy snowboards, hikes, gardens and relaxes with family and friends. She was raised in Michigan and made a number of stops before falling in love with Colorado and making it her home. Amy brings with her the love of family, in all its forms, from the perspective of daughter, sister, wife, friend and mother of many shades.
