hibiscus: what they admire most about their s/o
a/n: i'm sorry it took so long to finish this request. even now, i've proofread this at least six times but keep adding more to it so there's bound to be errors but i'll definitely fix it as i go. but thank you so much for being patient and i really enjoyed writing this one!
daichi would admire how down to earth their s/o is as well as how their tranquil nature makes them an amazing listener. being the captain of the volleyball club obviously means that he has to deal with the stress that is the energetic first and second years (iykyk :p) so having to calm them down before and during practice as well as checking up on everyone can be quite tiring.
he enjoys the fact that there is someone who shares similar ideas to him but isn't afraid to have differing opinions and stay loyal to those ideas (i have no idea where this is going).
i also know that they would take the time to make sure that he isn't falling behind with his education so he appreciates the extra time they take out of their evenings to help him study or get him caught up with the lesson content he may have missed. that and he enjoys the comprehensive study dates that they plan.
his fatigue occasionally gets to him to the point where he forgets that he's with you but the fact that they're also someone who wouldn't at times mind his fatigue and the silence it brings doesn't fail to grace a smile on his lips.
overall, he just enjoys sharing their company because he appreciates how understanding their s/o can be of his situation at times as well as how grounded they are. although sometimes the roles can switch, you can trust daichi to return the tender love and care that you gave to him, back to you.
and it makes him happy that he's able to accomplish such a thing.
