A natural dye workshop with me at our Kyara Art House in Hoi An. This 4hr experience was exclusively designed for artist Jaime Pritchard's special group, in which I shared my knowledge and research on Vietnam heritage fiber/needle works, native dye plants and then we worked with pure mulberry silk. All ingredients were nature, traditional, friendly to the skin and smell so good!!! I believe textile and needleworks could tell interesting stories about culture, histories and life.

Last weekend in my garden, having fun dyeing cotton thread with tumeric and marygold - two local ingredients that grow well without any chemical fertilizer. And I was teaching Ghazal - the intern - of Hmong cross stitch!
