i just read through your entire reddie tag and honestly???? im deceased?? so ive come to inform you of a (aged up) reddie headcanon i came up with... so eddie normally wears like sweaters and shit right?? but he secretly owns this black suit that fits him PERFECTLY (like defines his ass and everything) and the first time richie sees eddie wearing it is at like this super fancy work even and richie is like '???? how have i never seen this before????'

oohhhh boy...just imagine...richie, who’s been crushing on eddie forever but thinks he has no chance with him, seeing this cute guy in a suit from across the room and deciding that this is his chance to move on. so he waits until the guy is at the bar before sliding in beside him. elbow resting on the counter, - digs into his lower back as he leans against it - he keeps his eyes on the room in front of him as he lays out his best pick up lines (bc hes too nervous to look the guy in the eye). and he rlly goes for it - has decided ‘fuck it, its been too long since ive hooked up with someone’ - and says something abt how hes been watching this guy all night, “whats a cute guy like you doing here alone?”, definitely mentions that the suit looks rlly good on him

and then, in a voice that is frighteningly familiar, the guy replies, “richie, what are u doing?”

and richie realises how badly hes fucked up when he turns to see eddie staring at him with his cheeks flaming red.
