So meow-max​ just sent me an ask saying to post ten things that I like about myself, so here's my dose of self-confidence for the day!

1. I like that I'm intelligent. I like that I can hold intelligent conversations with people and I can understand current events with outside context. Also being in the honors program here is pretty rad.

2. I like that I'm good to people. I'm not always the most outgoing but I always try to be kind to people because you never know what someone is going through. Smiles and compliments can go a LONG way and I like to make people feel good about themselves.

3. I'm pretty. It's so easy to bash my own appearance but all in all, I like the way I look. I'm also really proud that I can say that because it's something I've struggled with for as long as I can remember and it's been a source of insecurity for about as long. I really, really, like that I look good.

4. I love that I have awesome socks. I have pig socks and cat socks and they're all so adorable, they just make my day better. I love that I have those.

5. I love my friends (does that count as something about myself? It's something about my life, so I'm going to count it). I love the social group I'm in because it's very silly and relaxed and supportive and loving and I miss everyone like crazy right now. It's awesome though because when we get together it's like no time has passed. I honestly can't even put into words how important my friends are to me.

6. I like my aspirations. I don't have a specific bucket list but there are definitely life goals I have (graduate from med school, go to Europe, have a family, fall in love). I just realized how conventional some of those sound but they're important to me. I like that I'm starting to figure out how to accomplish them, too. Scary but exciting!

7. I love my hair. It's really shiny and soft and even though it doesn't always stay the way I style it, I love it. 

8. I like my musical talent. Singing and playing piano are just really fun and being able to share those talents with other people who are also musically inclined is really fun!

9. Along the same lines, I like how well I play tennis. I could definitely use some work endurance-wise, but it's so fun to play matches and especially when you hit a really great shot and just put the ball away, oh my goodness it's fantastic!

10. I love how well I take photos. I don't talk about it very much but I love photography and it's amazing when everything lines up perfectly and you get a really great shot. I've thought about posting some of my photos here but I'm kind of worried people will take them. But that's a thing I really like! I can take photos :)

1.) What is the worst song you’ve ever heard in your life? 

im magical at avoidig music i dont like but i had to listen to new politics open for paramore and fall out boy so probably Berlin by them bc its one of those white bot trash one night stand songs

2.) Favorite instrument? 

i dont play instuments but im always amazed by how awesome i think trumpets sound in ska music so ill go with trumpets!

3.) Favorite food? 

either like any pasta my mom makes (shut up its delicious) or bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers theyre delicious omg

4.) What is your favorite season and why?

im gonna go with fall here bc winter has a tendency to fuck everything up where i live or be great but fall is always like generally the same and its nice and cool but you can go outside still and its tshirt and jeans weather a lot of the time which i really like!!

5.) What can make you laugh 100% of the time? 

really bad puns and poop jokes im gonna be honest here

6.) What is the number one quality you look for in a friend? 

im gonna either say trust, not a dickwad, or is willing to listen and correct themselves if theyre addressed theyre being offensive to someone! so...trust or empathy i think!

7.) Favorite movie? 

aahhhhhhhh shit i like movies too much i have like a three way tie of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Summer Wars, and GotG! 

8.) biggest pet peeve? 

i dont really think about pet peeves much...hmmmm....either when someone gets called out and if they ask for a why no ones gives them a why that pisses me off? idk if thats a pet peeve tho or just a thing i dont like! but other than that how i see some people play games or how some people i know play games (aka smash bros) like shit ive been to a couple groups and theres always a person using like competitive tactics and all advanced stuff when you can clearly tell no one else really is that good, so theyre just boosting their ego when they play, and not stepping it back and just enjoying the game with everyone! sore winners, i think thats called sore winners! 

9.) number one overrated concept/item/person in your opinion? 

theres probably like a thousand things that i could put for this part but im gonna go with how some horror movies and games create suspense and everything for the viewer. ive been noticing a lot lately that horror games rely on heavy breathing and darkness to make a game scary. why is my character breathing like he just ran a marathon being chased by a bear. i walked into a dark room. calm the fuck down. if that breathing goes on for more than 30 seconds i stop caring thats over used. and i mean with fnaf after like idk 2-3 videos i was fine except i just get startled at jumpscares so it stopped being scary and it just was kinda like oh come on really? bc its really just dark screens and jump scares to create the entire sense of horror while playing the game? atmosphere creates a good horror game, if you can make someone scared to walk into a perfectly well lit room with nothing out of place youre doing it right. like in the last of us (i havent beaten it but) i would get hella scared and everything going through a room with like a clicker or two but sometimes you need to take the risk of walking right next to them. and you can take them down but its HARD in some places, and...idk ok i need to stop here im gonna write a damn essay on the horror genre of games!

10.) Favorite animal? 

i dont know a lot of animals but i really like kittens and sugar gliders!!
