WiP - Finishing Sweeney

A fun little treat inbetween or: a fast project to work on :) Here is the progress I had on Sweeney.

Starting with a basic blush here, I decided to upgrade the design a bit and got my brushes out.

I was inspired by the wool pumpkin I made a few days before.

Looks wild and somehow I wasn't sure if I would like it in the end. But Sweeney came with a Jumper to dress up.

It was a bit big, I decided to make it smaller and added a pumpkin button =)

WiP - Assembling & Sueding Sweeney

I had postponed putting the little one together but yesterday I finally found the time to string him. Took me another day to put the photos onto the laptop but here they are :)

Stringing was fine until i noticed I put on the arms wrong.

So here is Sweeney with all parts strung correctly. Though the leg system is ... not that helpful with the extra channels for crossing the strings. I decided to hot glue the doll, some more spots needed it as well. The difference is huge.

Here is Sweeney on a selfmade wool pumpkin, I think this will become the display.

I have a color concept but that might change as standard orange is nice but I have full orange pumpkins in my crew already. Maybe I will go for something different here.

There is a good chance I might be painting the little one this weekend as I need to get the materials out anyways for another doll.
