Hey!! The Vancouver by-election is coming up and I was wondering if there's anything you could share on the school trustee candidates -- The Vancouver school board has been in crisis of late and the electing of these trustees could result in a major shake up (or more of the same bullshit)

I haven’t heard anything about the School trustees in the Vancouver Municipal Election.

I'm thinking about joining the ndp so I can vote in the upcoming leadership election-- do you know of any restrictions on new members when it comes to voting? Do I have to have been a member for a certain amount of time before I can participate?

Register as an NDP member before August 17th, and you can vote. Membership fees vary by province, but in most cases its under $10. If you’re young/student/have disabilities/etc you get a discount as well.
