MEP 2016 Day Three
third and last day - woke up at 7, got dresses and went to get breakfast. same as yesterday - went back to our rooms to pack our luggages and went to store them in hall 2. we forgot where and when to meet with our teacher and so we waited like half an hour in front of the room. - still no sign of our teacher, so we went to the plenary session at 9. - 10:28 paper 3/5 (AFCO) has passed. one of the AFET chairs (Jerry) suddenly had a delegate code and participated in the final discussion, so the other chairs couldn't stop him and laughed. GER 20/UK 17 held another speech talking about socialists and the whole hall laughed again. jerry had a point of information against him. nice. - 12:30 All papers have been discussed. At the last 5 minutes, the hot debate guy and GER 20/ UK 17 debated against each other. - lunch. - 13:35 the closing ceremony began. - The hot debate guy got the Best Delegate Award! congrats dude, you're cool. - The speeches held at the Ceremony were very great, especially Lucy's! - when our AFET chairs were awarded with a certificate, Johannes dabbed. Nice. - we are taking the same bus as Lucy Fang. I am honoured :D "Boom boom boom boom" is playing in my head. I think I am slowly going crazy (1,2,3,4,5,6 switch). - our first train is 5 minutes late. DB sucks. - We had to wait for the second train and so we all talked about the MEP, the US election and politics in general. it's nice to see that the teachers are as (to quote UK 17/GER 20) "socialist" as us. - in the train, there's a dude playing pokemon on his phone. it's either leaf green or fire red. you have good taste, sir. - my Patents picked me up from the Train station. i am FINALLY at home! bed, I misses you so much ❤ to summarise the weekend: MEP has been a great opportunity for me to not only learn SO MUCH about many different topics, it also was something extremely special and the memories will be stored in my heart forever.
