When Cyrus turns human for the first time, can he like not know how to use his legs? I mean that's a given right? Little mermaid didn't know what she was doing either. It took her while. Imagine instead of teaching your boyfriend how to skate you have to teach him how to walk before he gets frustrated and say fuck it and go back into the ocean........... and then take him ice/roller skating

Maybe one day he can no longer tolerate being away from you and just uses some magic to have human legs? I like this concept!

Okay so, Mer!Cyrus ask. What if while in the process of attracting the reader, Cyrus like releases his female-attracting pheromones around her and she's like almost dazed, "Cryus you smell so good" and she just buries her face in his neck and he just holds her possessively like, "it's working >:3"

Honey this is adorable af, but let’s be real. Would Cyrus really need to use pheromones to attract you? We all know you’ll fall at his feet (or well, tail) eventually ;)))

Quick headcannon: What if Mer!Cyrus got so fed up with Mer!Connor attempting to 'steal his girl' that he just pulls his s/o to him, and licks the side of their face while looking Connor dead in the eyes. Just, because that was something that Connor did to Cyrus all the time when they were younger.

Okay but you putting all the shiny gifts from Cyrus on your window sill (that faces the ocean) and he’s waiting for you to walk down from your house and he sees something shiny in the window and smiles bc he knows its the gift from him

We’d have this beautiful collection of seashells, rocks and forgotten treasures to display in our room (or our nest, as Cyrus calls it) to marvel at while he’s gone.

He’s super proud and happy that we like his gifts, they are so important in his culture and they mean a lot to him.

The only thing is, how do we explain it to Grandma? Lol.

Here’s random thought: Merman Connor played a prank on Merman Cyrus by turning him into a small fish and when reader goes swimming safely he’s always around blowing bubble kisses towards her and swimming with her while being silly. BONUS: If as a fish he sees Gavin looking in the water he’ll squirt water in his eye and then swim away into an anemone trying not to laugh.

Ahhh this is too cute, my dear!!! If Cyrus was actually fish size, nothing could stop you from taking him and putting him into a fish tank in your room lol. And poor Gavin would be so confused and angry, so I’m all for it lmao!!

I’m loving the idea that the reader is fed up with Connor and Cyrus’s shenanigans. Like, one time they start fighting over her AGAIN. And reader, exasperated, just gets out of the water, goes home, changed into comfortable not-swimming-appropriate clothes, comes back and— JFC ARE THEY STILL FIGHTING? And the ready just sits on the rocks and watching as two murky shapes duke it out under the water. Eventually the two brothers calm down and emerge to the surface. 1/2

The reader just looks at them and says “are you two done, or are you gonna keep throwing temper tantrums like a couple of toddlers fighting over a PLAY THING?” And then the reader gives them both a verbal lashing because SOMEBODY can’t seem to take the hint that she’s interested in someone else. And SOMEONE ELSE can’t seem to handle a relationship without resorting to aggressive acts of possession. so now our boys are faced with a conundrum. Either loose the reader forever, or grow up 2/2

Ohhhh I like this! After all, Readers is a badass, so it’s perfectly understandable that she doesn’t want to be treated as an object. Fish bois gonna have to understand it or they can find another little pearl to spoil 👀

I think he’d be shocked at first. He’s so rational and logical, and of course he never believed such creatures existed. But when he saw you? Poor boi was awestruck to say the least. He may try to hide it, but he’s completely wrapped around your finger. ;)
