These were watercolors for a course I'm taking this semester called scientific illustration! I chose to do two pieces on the iridescence of snake scales.The top piece is aimed at someone familiar with the field and the bottom would be a page in a children's book :)

I used @i-m-snek 's lovely python Tali as references for these! She's so pretty and I love her subtle shine
