Okay okay okay. So

Here’s this idea for my Merboy rp. So I read somewhere in mermen lore that they can only change once (from tail to legs) and it is usually for love. I was thinking maybe if a mermaids soul mate is human a mermans body knows and goes the change giving him his legs even if the merman does not realize it yet. So Terryn (calling him Terryn until I can decide on a name) at the time doesn’t know and he blames his mate for losing his tail, but as his mate teaches him how to live as a human he starts to fall for him ^^

Ehhh it’s a half assed idea but I kinda like it. But at the same time I want him to keep his tail. Hmmm...
