That is a good question! Unfortunately, I haven't thought that far ahead into what to replace their rides with. (Or to replace their rides at all.) I was thinking maybe giving them boats or jet-skis since they're aquatic forms of transportation, but I dunno if I wanna roll with it.
They might be able to drive their cars, just not normally and with a lot of struggle.
The idea of a bunch of merburners driving in their typical high speed fashion then flopping out of their driver seats into the water is actually really funny.
Wait if Canon chuck attempts to flirt with tech or his nerd knowledge with claire, how dose fish chuck even flirt?
He'll surface the water and do his typical tech-talk about Math or Science. Or try to nonchalantly slither onto land without looking awkward. I also found out that some eels show affection by "dancing" and by butting heads. So we'll also be seeing a lot of this:

They definitely used cars after seeing them being used on land, but they either gathered a bunch of parts to make their own, or just stole a group of people's cars and then customized them afterwards.
They're like those beach crabs who'll steal wallets and other stuff from people on land.

Royal gamma dutch is actually really pretty and has the same yellow-ish/orange-ish color and purple of his shirt palette but saturated! Blacktip shark Texas can have the black accents that match his suit and fishing net for the red!!
And this also means I can free up the orca species for someone else I had in mind !!!
