Esports Merchandise – Version 1 Design and Branding
This post showcases the first version of the H20 Esports branded merchandise, developed as part of the brand activation strategy for the team. The aim of this collection is to introduce H20 as a professional, competitive esports organisation while maintaining strong visual consistency across all physical products.
The designs reflect the H20 identity; clean, bold, and modern, which is built around the blue, white, and black colour palette inspired by the water theme.
Target Market and Design Appeal
The H20 merchandise is designed to appeal to:
Competitive gamers aged 15–30
Casual fans who follow the team online
Students who want affordable but professional esports apparel
Supporters attending tournaments or live events
Design decisions were informed by research into established esports brands such as Fnatic and Team Liquid, who use strong colour blocking, bold typography, and clear logo placement to build visual recognition.
H20’s blue colour scheme creates a calm yet competitive identity. Blue reflects clarity and flow under pressure, white represents precision and professionalism, and black adds strength and contrast. Together, these colours create a clean but powerful esports aesthetic.
