Les presento a mi amiga la famosa Pascuala, I am glad introduce to you my dear friend and partner is this adventure, the famous Pascuala. Sorry that I haven't post in my instagram to often, but I have been back and foward to Mexico and busy with the shows and many things that are happening. The Last weekend I was in Chapala where agreat Mexican artisans had a exposition. And my dear friend was invited to participated. She is a master in woven Maya Tzotzil and embroidery and she is part my project, many of her textiles and from her sisters, niece, sister in law, aunt are in my store. I am so happy that she and her family believe in this project since the first time I talk with her 5 years ago. Beautiful old books from the @themercantilelib here in Cincinnati by James Whitcomb Riley. My parents used to say his poems to me when I was little. I'd sit on my dad's lap after dinner and he'd recite bits of Little Orphan Annie "...and the goblins will get you if you don't watch out!" in a playful voice, and then he would tickle me. I loved it. I also remember sneaking the chance to drink the dregs out of the very bottom of his coffee cup. He'd put sugar in there and so that bitter sweet flavor was my favorite.
