Mercury Enters Virgo – 09/09/24.
Mercury is our mental space, how we communicate, digest information, process our thoughts and collect our ideas. It is our ability to connect with one another through verbal, energetic, and technological avenues.
In Virgo, we are looking to put our mental ducks in a row, we wish to organise ourselves, our thoughts, our choices, we are more systematic, orderly, analytical, and constructive. Mercury Virgo’s make things happen, they get shit done - they are the worker bees of society. They understand and care about the intricate details that most people overlook or find boring.
Our attention to details is heightened now. In the most positive ways, we can tick off a large number of tasks from our ‘to do’ list and we can sit and focus on our ideas and goals with ease. We can feel more successful, capable, and driven to succeed. We make big decisions, make plans, book events, attend important appointments, devote time to our health and handle our day-to-day affairs extremely well. We should feel switched on, ready, and mentally energised. Mercury Virgo aims to cleanse and clean our minds until it sparkles.
On the lower vibrational side of Virgo, we may end up focusing on the niggly negative/pessimistic sides of our minds. Mercury Virgo’s love a good distraction – they do not like to deal with what makes them uncomfortable, they distract themselves mainly through service, work, errands. They feel a real urge to keep marching on through the noise, even while dragging their exhausted limbs behind them – they cope by ignoring what is happening around them. You may now overthink, overwork, say too much, avoid saying anything at all, escape your problems by keeping busy – hiding away from choices/decisions you need to make. Any mistakes you believe you have made in the past can make you feel regretful now. Virgo energy is perfectionists energy, it struggles to see itself as anything less than the full package, but in the same breath has very low self-esteem due to the amount of external praise it requires and crave. It’s time to drop the distraction balls you're juggling, take a chill pill and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back and work on things.
Watch out for not believing you're ‘good enough’ or ‘capable enough’ – ask yourself instead, where are these thoughts coming from and how can I re-organise my thoughts patterns so I feel good instead?
Now is a time where you’re being asked to resolve conflicts whether internal or external, fix problems, understand where we went wrong/right and settle/commit to our wants/ideas.
Poke yourself – what do I actually think about this? What about these thoughts make me feel good/bad? What decisions do I need to make? Do these decisions make me think/feel motivated or drained? What’s my next step forward?
Conversations/decisions/plans likely to come up are based around work, health, wellness, routines, habits, time management, service, investments, commitments, and caring/nurturing requirements.
